Northglenn Skate Park review

For this review, I have selected the Northglenn Skate Park. Officially called the Don Anema Memorial Skatepark, it is located in E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park in Northglenn on Community Center Drive at 117th east of Washington Street. Located at the SE corner of the park, there are plenty of other things to do for family members who might not skate. There is a lake, restrooms, basketball courts and picnic areas. As for the Skatepark, there is a bowl, a 6 stair, rails, marble hubba and wedge to wedge gap. There is also a vortex that has been featured in Thrasher Skateboarding magazine. It is open from 5AM to 10PM and has lights. This park gets an A grade.

  1. This skate park looks pretty awesome. I've owned a skateboard most of my life but, and I'm ashamed to admit this, I've always been too skiddish to go to a skate park. Probably because I'm mildly embarrassed by my proclivity towards smashing my face into the ground.

  2. So sick man, Im gonna have to go to this park once I get my car! I like that you include the things to do for the people that don't skate. It has light huh?? That's awesome. Is there anyway you could use a different font or a bigger font? Maybe its just me but the writing is slightly hard to read.

  3. Sounds like and looks like it's a great park. Every time I return to Colorado I tend to see a new skate park popping up in the city and more and more in residential/suburban neighborhoods. I remember the days of riding a skate board and getting stopped by the cops with very few outlets or places to skate. Its great to see the cities and local councils get together and make things like this happen.
