Skatepark reviews coming soon

Hello. This is my first blog. I will be commenting on skate parks in the north metro Denver area. I am in the process of finalizing my design and will start posting soon.

  1. For my first skate park, I will be commenting on the Westminster skate park. Located in the Westminster rec center complex at 104th and Sheridan, this is a good all around skate park. It offers a variety of challenges for all levels of skaters. There are wedges, platforms, rails, stairs and a bowl. There is plenty of parking. The softball fields and soccer fields are close by, as is the Westminster Rec Center. The drawbacks are that there is no lighting for after dark and it is at the top of a hill with no trees to block the wind. The drain on the bowl is not exactly at the lowest point so there may be some water that hasn't drained completely. Overall, I would rate it a B.

  2. Hey Tom great idea here. The skating industry is so big, and there are a lot of skate parks around Colorado to blog on. I think you could get really creative and add some sweet pictures of skaters doing tricks and what not. Ill be excited to see where this goes and what else you post. Consider me a fan! Good all around start and idea. I really like it.
